May 17, 2025: Huntley, IL 60142 The Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) baseball got by the host Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Bears now own a 20-9 record. They take the field next when they host Stevenson for a North Suburban challenge on Monday, May 19. Lake Zurich will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Patriots record now stands at 16-15.
With the defeat, Huntley drops to 16-14 on the year. The Red raiders travel to Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to clash with the Corsairs in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 19. The Corsairs go into the challenge with a record of 11-20. Carmel lost 10-4 in their recent league challenge against Marist (Chicago, IL)
