The Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN) softball routed the visiting Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN), 16-7 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Hawks (17-5) will now prepare for their bout against Martinsville (Martinsville, IN). The Artesians go into the Mid-State bout with a 12-13 record. In their last bout, Martinsville toppled Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN), 5-0, in a league bout.
