The Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) baseball the visiting South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN), 18-13 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Golden Bears now own a 12-13 record. They take the field next when they host Randolph Southern for a Mid-Eastern challenge on Tuesday, May 20. Monroe Central will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 9-6 league loss to Union (Modoc, IN). The Rebels record now stands at 3-16.

With the defeat, South Adams drops to 5-17 on the year. The Starfires host Eastbrook (Marion, IN) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 22.
