May 19, 2025: Pinckneyville, IL 62274 The Pinckneyville Panthers softball team (Pinckneyville, IL), was tipped 2-1 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL)
The Orphans now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion for a South Seven outing on Tuesday, May 20. Centralia will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 15-8 non-league win over Salem (Salem, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 21-6.
With the loss, Pinckneyville moves to 20-8 on the season.
