The Pioneer Panthers edged the visiting Knox Redskins softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Caston Comets (Fulton, IN) in a Hoosier North challenge, on Tuesday, May 20. Pioneer will attempt to upgrade on its 18-10 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 5-15 record after their 6-5 league loss to Argos (Argos, IN).

The Redskins (12-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Bremen (Bremen, IN). The Lions enter the Northern State challenge with a 9-15 record. In their last challenge, Bremen edged Concord (Elkhart, IN), 13-12, in a non-league challenge.
