The Service Cougars baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting West Anchorage Eagles to 6 in the Cougars league win on Tuesday.

The Cougars now hold a 17-1 record. They take the field next when they host Dimond for a Cook Inlet test on Thursday, May 22. Service will play a Lynx team coming off a 7-6 league loss to Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 6-6.

With the defeat, West Anchorage drops to 5-12 on the year. The Eagles host Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 21. The Thunderbirds go into the test with a record of 3-14. Bettye Davis East Anchorage lost 18-4 in their recent league test against South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)
