In Saturday's league game, the visiting West Anchorage Eagles baseball team scored a close 6-4 win over the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds.

The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their game against Service (Anchorage, AK). The Cougars go into the Cook Inlet game with a 16-1 record. In their last game, Service nudged Chugiak (Chugiak, AK), 5-3, in a league game.

Next, the Thunderbirds play the South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) in a Cook Inlet game, on Monday, May 19. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Wolverines go into the game with a 18-2 record after their 10-0 league win over Bartlett (Anchorage, AK).
