The Covington Trojans baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting North Vermillion Falcons to 8 in the Trojans league win on Wednesday.

The Trojans now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Vermillion for a Wabash River test on Thursday, May 22. Covington will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-10.

With the defeat, North Vermillion drops to 2-20 on the year. The Falcons travel to Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, May 31. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 5-18. Fountain Central lost 19-5 in their recent non-league test against Delphi Community (Delphi, IN)
