Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN), 10-4 in a league match.

With the triumph, Covington advances its record to 14-9 on the season. The Trojans travel to Attica (Attica, IN) to battle the Red Ramblers in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 28. The Red Ramblers come into the match with a record of 4-17.

The Wildcats now have a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Terre Haute North Vigo for a non-league match on Monday, May 26. South Vermillion will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Charleston (Charleston, IL). The Patriots record now stands at 14-8.
