The Nashua South Purple Panthers baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Merrimack Tomahawks to 5 in the Purple Panthers league win on Wednesday.

The Purple Panthers now hold a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they host Londonderry for a Division I test on Tuesday, May 27.

With the defeat, Merrimack drops to 2-14 on the year. The Tomahawks travel to Bedford (Bedford, NH) to play the Bulldogs in a Division I test on Friday, May 23. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 13-6. Bedford won 12-1 in their recent league test against Timberlane (Plaistow, NH)
