May 22, 2024: Grosse Pointe, MI 48236 The Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting De La Salle Collegiate Pilots to 2 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils (13-13) will now prepare for their match against University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 11-15 record. In their last match, University Liggett was overwhelmed by Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI), 8-1, in a non-league match.
The Pilots (11-16) will now prepare for their match against Lutheran North (Macomb, MI). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, Lutheran North edged Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI), 10-7, in a non-league match.
