Maine High School Baseball - Lee Academy gets by Stearns
May 22, 2024: Lee, ME 04455 Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) and the visiting Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME), saw Lee Academy's baseball squad knock off Stearns by a count of 12-9.
Coming up next, the Pandas play the Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME) in a Class D North test, on Wednesday, May 29. Lee Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Royals come into the test with a 3-10 record after their 15-5 league loss to Machias (Machias, ME).
With the defeat, Stearns falls to 11-2 on the season. The Minutemen host Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME) to battle the Patriots in a Class D North test on Friday, May 24.
