Maine High School Softball - Foxcroft Academy tipped by Orono
May 22, 2025: Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426 Orono Riots (Orono, ME) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 8-6 in a league game.
With the triumph, Orono upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Riots host Central (East Corinth, ME) to play the Red Devils in a Class C North game on Friday, May 23. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 4-6. Central lost 9-7 in their recent league game against Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME)
The Ponies now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Maine Central Institute for a Class C North game on Friday, May 23. Foxcroft Academy will play a Huskies squad coming off a 9-6 league win over Central (East Corinth, ME). The Huskies record now stands at 4-3.
