The Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) baseball trounced the visiting North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN), 13-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 10-15 record. They take the field next when they host Wheeler for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 24. Lowell will clash with a Bearcats team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Glenn (Walkerton, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 9-15.

With the defeat, North Newton drops to 10-15 on the year. The Spartans host Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN) to clash with the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 26.
