The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) and the visiting Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN), saw Kankakee Valley's baseball team get by Lowell by a tally of 3-2.

The Kougars (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Senators enter the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Washington Township held off North Newton (Morocco, IN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
