Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL), 7-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lincoln-Way Central upgrades its record to 24-6 on the season. The Knights travel to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 29. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 29-4. Lincoln-Way West won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)

With the defeat, Lincoln-Way East falls to 22-14 on the season.
