The Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) softball routed the host Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), 16-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Panthers (15-12) will now prepare for their bout against Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 13-11 record. In their last bout, Stevenson toppled Mills (Millbrae, CA), 12-1, in a non-league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 15-4 record.
