Iowa High School Baseball - North Union wallops West Bend-Mallard
May 27, 2025: West Bend, IA 50597 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA) and the host West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA), saw North Union's baseball team gain a win over West Bend-Mallard by a tally of 19-8.
The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA). The Bison enter the Top of Iowa - West battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, North Iowa was overwhelmed by Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA), 8-7, in a league battle.
Next, the Wolverines face the South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) in a Twin Lakes battle, on Wednesday, May 28. West Bend-Mallard will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA).
