New Jersey High School Softball - Steinert bounces Matawan Regional
May 28, 2024: Hamilton, NJ 08690 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Steinert Spartans (Hamilton, NJ) and the visiting Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ), witnessed Steinert's softball squad tip Matawan Regional by a count of 5-0.
The Spartans now sport a 20-5 record. They play next when they travel to Middletown North for a non-league match on Thursday, May 30. Steinert will meet a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Ewing (Trenton, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 21-5.
With the loss, Matawan Regional moves to 15-9 on the season.
