Iowa High School Baseball - West Lyon wallops Okoboji
May 30, 2025: Milford, IA 51351 In Friday's league game, the visiting West Lyon Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 12-1 win over the Okoboji Pioneers.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Unity Christian (Orange City, IA). The Knights go into the Siouxland game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Unity Christian was overwhelmed by St. Mary's (Remsen, IA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Pioneers play the Spirit Lake Indians (Spirit Lake, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 31. Okoboji will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Indians go into the game with a 3-0 record after their 11-0 league win over Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA).
