June 2, 2025: DeWitt, IA 52742 The Central DeWitt baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Clinton River Kings to 3 in the non-league win on Monday.
The now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Scott for a non-league test on Thursday, June 5. Central DeWitt will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Davenport North (Davenport, IA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-7.
With the defeat, Clinton drops to 4-5 on the year. The River kings host Wahlert (Dubuque, IA) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, June 3. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 5-0. Wahlert won 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA)
