June 30, 2025: Davenport, IA 52804 The Assumption Knights baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Central DeWitt to 2 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.
The Knights now own a 20-10 record. They take the field next when they host Muscatine for a non-league test on Wednesday, July 2. Assumption will clash with a Muskies team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA). The Muskies record now stands at 14-12.
With the defeat, Central DeWitt drops to 11-14 on the year. The host Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA) to clash with the Go-Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, June 30. The Go-Hawks go into the test with a record of 11-10. Waverly-Shell Rock won 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Van Meter (Van Meter, IA)
