June 3, 2023: Orchard Lake, MI 48324 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets (Beverly Hills, MI) and the host St. Mary's Prep Eaglets (Orchard Lake, MI), witnessed Detroit Country Day's softball squad tip St. Mary's Prep by a count of 6-1.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 16-13 record. They play next when they travel to Marian for a non-league match on Saturday, June 3. Detroit Country Day will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Groves (Beverly Hills, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-13.
With the loss, St. Mary's Prep moves to 10-5 on the season.
