Iowa High School Baseball - Center Point-Urbana loses to Mt. Vernon
June 3, 2024: Mt. Vernon, IA 52314 In Monday's non-league game, the host Mt. Vernon Mustangs baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers.
The Mustangs (7-4) will now prepare for their game against North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The Lancers go into the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, North Scott overcame Muscatine (Muscatine, IA), 13-3, in a non-league game.
The Stormin' Pointers (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Independence (Independence, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, Independence was overwhelmed by Wahlert (Dubuque, IA), 28-1, in a non-league game.
