Iowa High School Softball - Bishop Garrigan bounces West Bend-Mallard
June 5, 2025: West Bend, IA 50597 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears (Algona, IA) and the host West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA), observed Bishop Garrigan's softball team prevail over West Bend-Mallard by a tally of 13-1.
The Golden Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against North Union (Armstrong, IA). The Warriors go into the Top of Iowa-West bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, North Union knocked off Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA), 8-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Newell-Fonda Mustangs (Newell, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Friday, June 6. West Bend-Mallard will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 5-3 league win over Northwest Webster (Manson, IA).
