Iowa High School Baseball - Johnston defeats Northwest
June 12, 2025: Johnston, IA 50131 The Johnston Dragons (Johnston, IA) baseball trounced the visiting Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA), 8-2 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Dragons now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they host Sioux City North for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 13. Johnston will clash with a Stars team coming off a 10-6 league win over Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA). The Stars record now stands at 12-2.
With the defeat, Northwest drops to 9-3 on the year. The Wolves travel to Davenport North (Davenport, IA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 14. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Davenport North won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA)
