June 14, 2025: Clinton, IA 52732 In Saturday's non-league test, the Northeast Rebels (Goose Lake, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Clinton River Kings (Clinton, IA), by a tally of 10-4.
Next, the Rebels clash with the Maquoketa Cardinals (Maquoketa, IA) in a non-league test, on Monday, June 16. Northeast will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 6-12 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Davenport West (Davenport, IA).
The River Kings (3-15) will now prepare for their test against Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA). The go into the Mississippi Athletic test with a 8-12 record. In their last test, Central DeWitt held off Midland (Wyoming, IA), 7-4, in a non-league test.
