Iowa High School Softball - Northeast gets by Davenport West
June 11, 2025: Goose Lake, IA 52750 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Northeast Rebels (Goose Lake, IA) and the visiting Davenport West Falcons (Davenport, IA), observed Northeast's softball team get by Davenport West by a tally of 6-5.
The Rebels (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Clinton (Clinton, IA). The River Kings go into the non-league bout with a 2-13 record. In their last bout, Clinton was nipped by Davenport Central (Davenport, IA), 16-4, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Prairie Hawks (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, June 13. Davenport West will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 5-0 league loss to Cedar Falls (Cedar Falls, IA).
