June 17, 2025: Sumner, IA 50674 The Clarksville Indians (Clarksville, IA) softball routed the host Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars (Sumner, IA), 7-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Indians now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to BCLUW for a non-league outing on Wednesday, June 18. Clarksville will encounter a Comets team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to North Butler (Greene, IA). The Comets record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Sumner-Fredericksburg moves to 9-7 on the season. The Cougars host Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA) to encounter the Go-Hawks in a non-league outing on Thursday, June 19.
