The Winterset Huskies baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Norwalk Warriors to 13 in the Huskies non-league win on Thursday.

The Huskies now hold a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bondurant-Farrar for a Raccoon River test on Monday, June 22. Winterset will play a Bluejays team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 13-7.

With the defeat, Norwalk drops to 9-10 on the year. The Warriors travel to Pella (Pella, IA) to play the Dutch in a non-league test on Friday, June 19. The Dutch go into the test with a record of 5-13. Pella won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Newton (Newton, IA)
