Iowa High School Softball - Hudson sneaks past Madrid
June 21, 2025: Hudson, IA 50643 The Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) softball nipped the visiting Madrid Tigers (Madrid, IA), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbus for a North Iowa Cedar - Central outing on Monday, June 23. Hudson will encounter a Sailors team coming off a 30-15 league win over Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Sailors record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Madrid moves to 6-14 on the season. The Tigers travel to Panorama (Panora, IA) to encounter the Panthers in a West Central outing on Monday, June 23. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 4-14. Panorama lost 13-0 in their recent league outing against Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA)
