Iowa High School Baseball - Ballard wallops Bishop Heelan Catholic
June 28, 2025: Sioux City, IA 51105 The Ballard Bombers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders to 1 in the Bombers non-league win on Saturday.
The Bombers now own a 19-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bondurant-Farrar for a Raccoon River test on Monday, June 30. Ballard will clash with a Bluejays team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Assumption (Davenport, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 10-8.
With the defeat, Bishop Heelan Catholic drops to 20-7 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Boone (Boone, IA) to clash with the Toreadors in a non-league test on Saturday, June 28. The Toreadors go into the test with a record of 11-7.
