June 28, 2025: Manly, IA 50456 The Central Springs Panthers softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets to 3 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Ansgar for a Top of Iowa-East battle on Monday, June 30. Central Springs will confront a Saints team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA). The Saints record now stands at 6-16.
With the loss, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont moves to 10-16 on the season. The Rockets host Hempstead (Dubuque, IA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Saturday, June 28.
