June 30, 2025: Pleasant Hill, IA 50327 The Johnston Dragons baseball squad (Johnston, IA), was overwhelmed 5-1 in Monday's league contest with the host Southeast Polk Rams (Pleasant Hill, IA)
With the triumph, Southeast Polk moves its record to 16-15 on the season. The Rams travel to Ankeny (Ankeny, IA) to confront the Hawks in a CIML contest on Tuesday, July 1. The Hawks come into the contest with a record of 10-19. Ankeny won 11-5 in their recent league contest against Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA)
The Dragons now possess a 18-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Urbandale for a CIML contest on Wednesday, July 2. Johnston will confront a J-Hawks squad coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Indianola (Indianola, IA). The J-Hawks record now stands at 11-19.
