August 1, 2025: Moss Point, MS 39562 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the East Central Hornets (Moss Point, MS) and the visiting Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS), observed East Central's volleyball team top Riverside by a count of 2-0.
The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, St. Martin was knocked off by Resurrection Catholic (Pascagoula, MS), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Bulldogs battle the Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, August 2. Riverside will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lafayette (Oxford, MS).
