August 7, 2025: Brooklet, GA 30415 Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA), 6-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Appling County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Pirates host Ware County (Waycross, GA) to play the Gators in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 12. The Gators enter the game with a record of 0-2.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Burke County for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 12. Southeast Bulloch will play a Bears squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Cross Creek (Augusta, GA). The Bears record now stands at 0-4.
