In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Bears battle the Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 10. Alcorn Central will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Biggersville (Corinth, MS).
