The Alcorn Central Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Kossuth Aggies to 2 in the Bears non-league victory on Thursday.

The Bears now possess a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belmont for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Alcorn Central will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Booneville (Booneville, MS). The Cardinals record now stands at 18-4.

The Aggies (12-6) will now prepare for their game against Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 12-4 record.
