In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) volleyball team held off the host Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC), by a margin of 3-2.

The Hawks now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Jack Britt for a non-league match on Thursday, August 14. Triton will battle a Buccaneers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-1.
