The Triton Hawks volleyball squad (Erwin, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC)

With the win, Union Pines improves its record to 11-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Lee County (Sanford, NC) to encounter the Yellow Jackets in a Carolina Pines 6A battle on Thursday, September 11. The Yellow Jackets go into the battle with a record of 8-3. Lee County lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Harnett Central (Angier, NC)
