The Triton Hawks volleyball squad (Erwin, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC)

With the win, Harnett Central improves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to meet the Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 17. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 11-2. Gray's Creek won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC)

Next, the Hawks meet the Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Triton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC).
