Georgia High School Softball - Apalachee bounces Mountain View
August 13, 2024: Lawrenceville, GA 30043 The Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA) softball routed the host Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA), 17-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winder-Barrow for a 5A Region 8 outing on Thursday, August 15. Apalachee will encounter a Bulldoggs team coming off a 18-9 non-league loss to Madison County (Danielsville, GA). The Bulldoggs record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Mountain View moves to 4-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 17. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 1-5. Habersham Central won 4-1 in their recent league outing against Clarke Central (Athens, GA)
