August 22, 2024: Mt. Airy, GA 30563 In Thursday's league test, the Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA) softball squad the host Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA), by a tally of 2-0.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 23. Apalachee will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 1-6 record after their 9-4 league loss to Banks County (Homer, GA).
The Raiders (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA). The Bulldoggs go into the 5A Region 8 test with a 4-6 record.
