August 13, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28405 West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Carteret advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Thursday, August 14. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 0-2. Pamlico County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC)
The Buccaneers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to D.H. Conley for a non-league test on Friday, August 15.
