Georgia High School Football - Trinity Christian can't hold off Ola

August 15, 2025: McDonough, GA 30252

Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA), 34-28 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Ola improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA) to play the Wildcats in a AAAA Region 2 battle on Friday, August 22. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Locust Grove won 41-7 in their recent non-league battle against Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA)

The Lions now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Riverdale for a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. Trinity Christian will play a Raiders team coming off a 28-18 non-league win over Drew (Riverdale, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.
