August 16, 2023: Sanford, NC 27330 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Cary Imps (Cary, NC) and the host Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), saw Cary's soccer squad knock off Lee County by a count of 4-1.
The Imps now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Athens Drive for a non-league test on Monday, August 21. Cary will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Lee County drops to 0-1 on the season. The Yellow jackets host Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league test on Thursday, August 17.
