August 16, 2025: Cerritos, CA 90703 Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Woodrow Wilson Bruins (Long Beach, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Defenders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against La Serna (Whittier, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
Next, the Bruins meet the Sunny Hills Lancers (Fullerton, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Woodrow Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
