California High School Volleyball - Central can't hold off Steele Canyon

August 16, 2025: Spring Valley, CA 91978

The Steele Canyon Cougars tipped the visiting Central Spartans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Cougars now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Valhalla for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 19. Steele Canyon will clash with a Norsemen team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA). The Norsemen record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Central drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Santana (Santee, CA) to confront the Sultans in a non-league match on Saturday, August 16. The Sultans enter the match with a record of 0-0.
