Central Spartans (El Centro, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Oceanside Pirates (Oceanside, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Central advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-1. Steele Canyon lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA)

Next, the Pirates play the Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 16. Oceanside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
