Mississippi High School Volleyball - Petal can't get by St. Patrick
August 16, 2025: Biloxi, MS 39532 St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Petal Panthers (Petal, MS), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Fighting Irish (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS). The Bobcats come into the Class 3A Region 8 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Presbyterian Christian edged Gautier (Gautier, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Biloxi Indians (Biloxi, MS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 16. Petal will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS).
